The game between third ranked Metapan (7-1) and 6th ranked Independiente (3-6) in Metapan on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Metapan beat guests from 97-79. Xavier Zambrana notched a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort. Metapan's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 30 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists by Andravious Smith did not help to save the game for Independiente. Metapan have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Loser Independiente dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with Brujos.

In the last game of round 10 Santa Tecla was beaten by Salvadorenos on the road 76-59.
